The Municipality of Antigua Guatemala, Sacatepéquez, shared on Tuesday, February 25, a video of the moment of a traffic accident.
“In the streets of Antigua Guatemala We continue to see accidents that put the lives of drivers and pedestrians at risk. It is time to become aware and act responsibly, ”the commune published on Facebook.
In the recording it is seen when a car was traveling on the 2nd street and 3rd avenue, where it overturned after colliding with a vehicle that was parked.
According to the commune, “speeding, distraction at the wheel and breach of traffic standards may have fatal consequences.”
The Municipal Traffic Police called on the population to handle with caution to prevent accidents.
He also recommended not handling in drunk and avoiding the use of cell phone while driving.
