The head of the Superintendence of Tax Administration (SAT), Marco Livio Díaz Reyes, requested a temporary license to absent his activities this week, official sources reported.
According to the official information, Mayor Armando Gabriel Pokus Yaquián, is the superintendent designated to cover Diaz during his absence.
The reasons for which Díaz requested the temporary license has not been revealed.
This is the second license that the Chief of the SAT requests since December last year.
Tonight, a meeting of the board of the SAT was held, in which Pokus Yaquián already participated as secretary. In the session several already scheduled topics and agenda points were addressed and the call for the choice of the new Superintendent is expected.
Last December, Díaz requested a license after he publicly announced on an alleged investigation against him for the Public Ministry, through the Prosecutor’s Office against Impunity (FECI).
The law indicates that before an absence of the holder of the SAT that can be temporary or definitive, there is previously a designated superintendent, which on that occasion also corresponded to Armando Gabriel Pokus Yaquián, who is the mayor of taxpayer attention.
