Three women of Mexican nationality were captured at the La Aurora International Airport when they transported a large sum of money.

The National Civil Police (PNC) reported on Wednesday, February 26 that three women of Mexican nationality were captured in the inspection hall of La Aurora International Airport, in zone 13.
The detainees confiscated US $ 19,320 (Q148 thousand), according to the PNC.
The detainees are: Alexandra “N”, 36; Lidia “N”, 31, and Rachel “N”, 27.
The PNC added that these women came to Guatemala on Monday from Mexico.
According to the investigation, the objective was to come to bring that money without specifying where or how they obtained it.
This Wednesday they would return to Mexico, but they were intercepted.
