The president of the United States, Donald Trump, announced on Sunday the creation of a strategic cryptocurrency reserve that It will include Bitcóin, Solana and XRP, among others.
“A Crypto of the United States will raise this key industry after corrupt attacks by the administration of (Joe) Biden,” said the Republican in a publication in his social social network social.
The president explained that signed an executive order on digital assets for a working group to advance in the creation of a strategic cryptocurrency reserve.
According to Trump himself, this reserve includes Bitcoin, Etherium, XRP, the Token Sol de Solana and Ada de Cardano.
“I will make sure that the United States is the world capital of cryptocurrencies. We are making the United States big again!”
After the announcement, The XRP value rose 33%, while the Token linked to Solana rose 22% And Cardano’s cryptocurrency shot more than 60%, the CNBC chain reported.
Bitcóin and Etherium won 9% and 11%, respectively, added the American media.
Trump plans to house next Friday at the White House the first cryptocurrency summit promoted by an American president.
The news surprised the cryptocurrency market during a weekend in which pessimism predominated, due to the recent falls in the values of most assets of this type.
