Traffic with direction to the city center was affected the morning of this Thursday 6 March due to one demonstration in support of the Lev Tahor communitywhich made vehicular circulation difficult.
The closure of one of the streets on the Bridge the incensein the direction of zones 1 and 2 of the capital, forced to take three deviations and affected the alternate routes of the sectorincluding Mixco.
Road spokesman Amílcar Montejo explained that the protest occurred without major incidents, beyond the presence of a group of people who walked from several blocks before to the bridge.
However, the demonstration did not go unnoticed. According to reports, some were recorded verbal altercations and passersby insulted the protesters.

The blockade on one of the roads began at 5.50 hours and extended until 9.40, according to the PMT of Guatemala, that is, a period of almost four consecutive hours.

Although the group was reduced, with at least 15 people, the partial closure of the road from 6 hours impacted traffic and caused slowness in a sector that already has a high vehicular load.
According to the PMT, these were the most affected points due to closure:
- Peripheral ring, to the Cejusa bridge, zone 11.
- Boulevard democracy, affecting the La Verbena neighborhood, zone 7.
- Minervas neighborhood, with slow transit to El Naranjo, zone 4 of Mixco.

The protesters said that they support Lev Tahor and demand the Unification of the judicial files of the children of the ultra -orthodox Jewish community that were left in state custody, with the aim of expediting their process and achieving their restitution with their families.
