This March 10, the Second Court executed the order of the Third Chamber of Appeals, so the journalist José Rubén Zamora will return to preventive detention, after the revocation of substitute measures I had received.
According to the Public Ministry, with this decision the Journalist must return to preventive detention “immediately.”
“Mr. Judge had no options. Arbitrarily, the room ordered this. Despite his convictions, they left him in a dead end”Zamora said after the judge’s resolution.
Judge Erick García, who was the same one who benefited Zamora with house arrest on October 18, 2024, said at the hearing that He and his staff have been “victims of threats and intimidation by unknown people.”
Since March 6, the journalist’s children alerted on social networks about this hearing, which was suspended on March 7 because Judge García argued the absence of the representative of the Foundation against Terrorism, as well as the lack of the case file.
