In Salamá, Baja Verapaz, a minor was rescued and his parent transferred to a court for being under the effect of liquor.

The National Civil Police (PNC) reported on Wednesday, March 12 that he rescued a baby and transferred a court to find himself under liquor effect.
He added that the citizen complaint was key to the rescue of the child, 1 year, who was in danger.
He explained that the woman, in drunk, carried the baby and intended to buy more alcoholic beverages in the Hacienda la Virgen neighborhood, in Salamá, Baja Verapaz.
After receiving the alert, agents went to the place and rescued the child, who was taken to the hospital of the same municipality.
According to the medical diagnosis, the baby possibly has severe protein malnutrition and has low weight.
The PCC coordinated with the Attorney General’s Office for the corresponding procedures.
Meanwhile, the 22 -year -old woman was made available to a court.
