A deceased motorist and at least 11 injured students is the balance of a traffic accident at kilometer 43 of the route to Santo Domingo Xenacoj, Sacatepéquez, according to the departmental municipal firefighters and volunteer firefighters.
According to versions at the scene of the accident, for causes still unknown, the bus driver overwhelmed two people traveling on a motorcycle and then fell into a hollow.
One of the bikers died in the place, while his companion and the injured students were transferred to the Chimaltenango National Hospital.
The accident has generated traffic complications in the sector.
“@Asonbomdgt attends and moves 11 minors and an adult injured to the emergence of the Chimaltenango National Hospital. In the place is a deceased adult, so the corresponding authorities are notified, ”said the departmental municipal firefighters in their X account.
