The FIFA SEYCHELLES Playa World Cup 2025 It is getting closer and promises to be a historical edition for beach football. Guatemala and El Salvador will represent Central America In this tournament that brings together the best selections in the world in an event that will be held from May 1 to 11 in Victoria, Mahé Island, Seychelles.

The tournament will take place in Victoria, Mahé Island, in Seychelles, a paradisiacal destination that will house the FIFA World Cup from May 1 to 11, 2025. It will be the first time that this country is hosting the competition, which makes it a unique event in the history of beach football.

So far, 13 selections have secured their ticket to the World Cup, while three quotas are yet to be defined. Among the classified teams are beach soccer powers such as Brazil, Portugal and Spainin addition to the historical participation of Guatemala, who will make his debut in the competition.

The tournament will have 16 selections, which will be divided into four groups of four teams. The two best of each group will advance to the direct elimination phase, which includes the quarterfinals, semifinals, a third party and the grand finale.

Since its creation, the Beach Soccer World Cup has been largely dominated by Brazil, which has been crowned in five editions. However, other selections have managed to raise the trophy on different occasions.

The Seychelles 2025 World Cup will be an opportunity to see if Brazil maintains its hegemony or if a new selection manages to dethrone the South American giant.

The National Team of Guatemala will make history by participating for the first time in a World Cup of Beach Soccer, while El Salvador, a team with more experience in the competition, will seek to consolidate as one of the strongest selections in the region.
