A total of 32 teams were distributed in eight groups to begin the group stage of the Copa Libertadores.

On Monday, March 17, Paraguay, the raffle of the group stage of the Copa Libertadores 2025. A total of 32 teams were divided into eight groups where they already know those who will be their rivals.

The first date will be played in the first week of April and the activity will run until the last week of May.

The current Botafogo champion remained in Group A along with Estudiantes de la Plata, University of Chile and Carabobo.

In Group B is River Plate with Independiente del Valle, University and Barcelona SC. Group C is made up of Flamengo, LDU Quito, Deportivo Táchira and Central Córdoba.

In the D fell Sao Paulo, Libertad, Talleres and Alianza Lima. Another Argentine club as Racing, champion of the South American Cup, is in Group E along with Colo-Colo, Fortaleza and Atlético Bucaramanga.

Group F is composed of national, international, Atlético Nacional and Bahía. In g The members are Palmeiras, Bolívar, Sporting Cristal and Cerro Porteño.

Finally, Group H is made up of Peñarol, Olimpia, Vélez Sarsfield and San Antonio.

These 32 teams will begin the group stage on April 1 and the competition will run until November 29 at a headquarters to designate.

At the moment the Montevideo Centennial Stadium and the Mané Garrincha de Brasilia are postulated to house the final.

The first two of each group will advance to the round of 16and from there the series will be defined to round trips.

The eight third of the group stage will go to the Eighth Eighth Draw of the South American Cup.
