Jiménez said: “If this exercise – manifestar – effectively implies the one that affects the population, we will take the measures that according to our protocols are established, the measures of the protocols are very clear, that is, there is an approach with the group that blocks to invite them to withdraw and reach some agreement, but where the blockages effectively the analysis criteria is that they considerably damage the rights of others, We have to intervene and if there is no adequate response to make the proportional use of force, that is our indication to security forces. ”

“This powerfully attracts our attention because this generates dismissal and there are actors in the country, politicians who are interested in feeding that destabilization, we have to be clear, we are for the right of the demonstration, but we cannot allow the exercise of a right to be violent,” added the Minister of the Interior.
