A group of riot agents of the National Civil Police (PNC) that dispersed protesters in the 18th street and 9th Avenue in Zone 1 of the capital was rammed by a pirate taxi that came out of the crowd, official sources reported on Wednesday, March 19.
The incident occurred within the framework of the blockages in rejection of the mandatory insurance for vehicles, a measure agreed by the Government to promote road responsibility in Guatemala.
In that place there was a confrontation between the dissatisfied and the security forces, so one of the protesters tried to run over the PNC agents.
It was reported on the capture of two people, but no details have been given of the charges that are charged to them.
At least 34 points remain blocked by protesters that oppose the mandatory insurance for vehicles.
