Denilson Álvarez and Berny Marroquín are part of the group of selected who made history by classifying Guatemala to their first beach soccer World Cup.

Marroquín and Álvarez are friends who share the office of masonry for six years and now integrate the team of 12 Guatemalans that will play the contest, scheduled for May in Seychelles, East Africa.

For these athletes, the road has been complicated and full of sacrifices, but they have found support in their classmates to fulfill the dream of being World Cups.

The president of the National Football Federation, Gerardo Paiz, informed that the selected ones will receive economic support, since they must leave their work as masons in Guatemala for several weeks.
