The Municipal Traffic Police (PMT) reported how the mobility situation in the capital could be, due to the Party between Guatemala and Guyana, which will be played this Tuesday, March 25.
The match, corresponding to the Gold Cup, will take place at 6.30 pm at the Cementos Progreso Stadium, in Guatemala City.
In that sense, Amílcar Montejo, spokesman of the PMT, indicated that at 13 hours the stadium gates will be open, where 2,000 internal spaces for parking will be enabled.
He added that the greatest amount of fans of the enclosure is expected at 17 hours.
He also noted that the transmetro line 6 will serve while the road safety conditions allow it.
“A call to respect the red prohibition lines is made to keep the sections that, by emergency, constitute evacuation areas for lifeguards,” Montejo added.
He indicated that PMT agents will regulate traffic on La Pedrera Boulevard, from 15 to 26 street, zone 6.
He asked motorists not to park in green areas or residences.
