A group of researchers from Egypt and the US found the tomb of an unknown pharaoh in Abidos, one of the oldest cities.

According to the information of National Geographicthe grave has an approximate height of 4.8 meters and a depth of 7 meters. The tomb was found in a chamber that had several inscriptions that mention different deities, such as ISIS and Neftis.
Regarding the identity of the Pharaoh discovered, the report of National Geographic The researchers still do not determine who is even the period of their governance, but they point out that it would probably have been an anonymous predecessor of King Useribra Senebkay, whose tomb was discovered in 2014.
The researchers detail that the grave would be approximately 3,700 years old, and that it would belong to an unpadded dynasty in Abidos that would have belonged to the second intermediate period in the “Monte Anubis” cemetery, since its discovery was in the Gebel Anubis necropolis, south of Egypt.
“The discovery of the real grave in Abidos contributed new scientific evidence on the development of real tombs in the necropolis of Mount Anubis, which dates back to the Abidos dynasty, where a series of kings ruled Alto Egypt between 1700 AC. And 1600 AC,” said the Ministry in a statement.
