Death and injuries in traffic accidents in different parts of the national territory this Saturday, March 29.
A trailer was undone to the injury at kilometer 55 of the Route to Pacific, in Escuintla, the General Directorate of Road Protection and Safety reported.
Volunteer firefighters reported that a person died in the aforementioned accident. The identity of the victim is unknown.
They added that, in another fact, the driver of a motorcycle lost control and hit a tree on the Mateo Flores road and 14 avenue, zone 3 of Mixco.
The victim, in critical condition, was transferred to the emergency of the Roosevelt Hospital.
The municipal firefighters reported that the driver of a motorcycle lost his life by injuring Petapa Avenue and 53 Calle, Zone 12.
They indicated that, in the accident, the motorcycle, a truck and a car were involved. The victim died from polytrauma.
The departmental municipal firefighters indicated that a motorist died in a accident occurred on the route to the Ixcoxol village, Dolores, Petén.
The body of the biker was at the edge of the road and its identity is unknown.

The aforementioned Socorro Corps added that, at kilometer 178 of the route between Sacapulas and San Pedro Jocopilas, Quiché, a traffic accident occurred when the driver of a Picop lost control and overturned.
Paramedics provided prehospital care to the three occupants, who suffered blows and wounds in different parts of the body.

José Alfredo Gómez, 53, was transferred to the Quiché Regional Hospital; The other two people were mobilized by their own means to a health center.
Firefighters also reported that a person driving on a motorcycle died after being hit at kilometer 14.5 of the Route to Pacific.

The Mixco Municipal Traffic Police reported that the driver of a trailer lost control and the vehicle crashed into a post at kilometer 19.5 of the Inter -American Route. No injured people were reported.
Local media reported that a truck loaded with sugar overturned at kilometer 89 of the highway to Puerto Quetzal.
