Hundreds of people responded this Saturday, March 29 in Madrid to the call of the American Democratic Party to protest against the policy of the president of the United States, Republican Donald Trump, in a call that extended to several Spanish cities.

Convened by Democrats Abroad (Democrats abroad), the protest claimed the Importance of vote as “superpower to defend democracy” and encouraged Americans residing in Spain to subscribe to vote against the electoral reform promoted Trump and that forces voters to demonstrate their citizenship to be able to exercise their right.
The concentration passed peacefully in the emblematic Puerta del Sol de Madrid, where the protesters launched slogans against Trump and carried American flags and banners with slogans like “No one chose Musk”, “They will not shut up” or “in defense of democracy.”
The protests have also been summoned in other Spanish cities, such as Barcelona, to denounce the impact of Trump’s policies both in the United States and the rest of the world.
