The National Institute of Seismology, Volcanology, Meteorology and Hydrology (Insivumeh) presented this March 31 the weather conditions for this Monday, in which a warm and humid environment will predominate.
According to the latest report on atmospheric conditions, this Monday there will be heat in most Guatemala, in addition to partial cloudy during the afternoon and night.
There will be a high solar radiation and high temperatures, mainly around noon, says Insivumeh.
However, the authorities indicate that in the south and center of Guatemala the presence of rains, accompanied by electrical activity, is forecast.
It is recommended to take the necessary precautions before the planned rains, the high temperatures and the possibility of fires; Do not expose yourself to the sun for prolonged periods and shelter well during the early morning, advises the institution.

In relation to the climatic conditions planned for this week, the prognosticador César George indicated that, due to the entrance of moisture into the Pacific area, rains are foreseen in the south and center of Guatemala.
Atmospheric pressure will remain this week, so an increase in temperatures is expected, according to George.

He explained that temperatures of 36 to 38 degrees are expected in Petén, transverse strip of the north and the Caribbean of the country, while the eastern region will have 38 to 40 degrees and the southern coast, from 36 to 38 degrees.
On the central plateau, where the capital is located, temperatures will range between 30 and 32 degrees.
