The kidnapping and subsequent rescue of an eight -month -old baby causes tension in San Vicente Pacaya, Escuintla, this April 1.
The National Civil Police (PNC) reported that the abduction of the child was reported, which motivated an operation in place. The girl was located and rescued by Escuintla agents, who put her safe and handed her to her relatives.
After the incident, a man indicated as alleged responsible for the kidnapping was captured and transferred to a health center, since he was beaten by neighbors.
According to the PNC, a group of people tried to lynch the suspect.
On Tuesday night, local media report that the riots continue and that neighbors burn tires to demand that the indicated be delivered to them.
