The Transit Department of the National Civil Police (PNC) reported that a strong police deployment dissolved an illegal nightly roller of motorcycles in Guatemala City.
According to the report, 113 fines were imposed, four motorcycles and 13 licenses were recorded.
Transit added that the above is the result of the night operations carried out on Tuesday, April 1 in zones 10, 13 and 16, where agents withdrew from public roads to motorcycles.
“They caused disorder, prevented free locomotion and generated auditory pollution during the development of an illegally organized nightly shot,” Traffic said.
He explained that the operations of the combined forces had the participation of more than 100 agents of the 13 PNC Police Station, the Transit Department, Gril Wolves and Fast Action Forces.
The timely police action allowed neutralizing this activity, in which more than a thousand motorcycles participated, “he added.
According to transit, these operations seek to strengthen the security of those who make use of public roads and guarantee compliance with the Traffic Law and its Regulations.
