From before 3 in the morning, the city begins to fill devotees, loaders and visitors, who seek the best place to witness the beginning of the processional courtship.
The image of Jesús Nazareno de la Fallework of the sculptor Pedro de Mendoza in the seventeenth century, has a story that goes back to his first procession in 1902.
Since then, this event has grown in popularity and relevance, becoming one of the most anticipated courtships in Antigua Guatemala
The procession of Jesus of the fall has an extensive tour that extends almost 24 hours, crossing the picturesque and emblematic places of the historic center of Antigua Guatemala.
