The PNC reported the capture of a Salvadoran gang member, who will be expelled from Guatemala and delivered to El Salvador.

In a police action carried out by investigators of the Transnational Anti -Pandilla Center (CAT) of the National Civil Police (PNC), in coordination with Mexico authorities, the Salvadoran Roberto “N”, 38, aka “Smaylin”.
The detainee will be expelled from Guatemala and delivered to the Justice of El Salvador, where he is a syndicated of possession, carrying and irresponsible driving of firearms, according to an arrest warrant issued on June 20, 2023 in his country.
According to the PNC, this subject is a member of the 18th neighborhood, with the trigger function -gathered to shoot -and records other criminal records in El Salvador.
In his country he is also indicated by the crimes of illicit groups and illegal use or occupation of real estate, the PNC added.
In addition, it faces charges for resistance, illicit groups and simple homicide in a tentative degree.
The PNC stressed that, after transnational work between Guatemala, Mexico and El Salvador, this subject was located by Mexican authorities.
The suspect was delivered to the CAT of Guatemala on the El Carmen border, Malacatán, San Marcos.
