CIV authorities reported on the dismissal of the interim director of Covial.

The Ministry of Communications, Infrastructure and Housing (CIV) confirmed on Tuesday, April 8, the dismissal of Mónica Gabriela Cueto López as an interim director of the Road Conservation Executing Unit (COVIAL).
A few weeks ago, in the Congress of the Republic the Minister of Communications, Miguel Ángel Díaz Bobadilla, was asked about the changes in that portfolio, because the directors of Covial and the General Directorate of Caminos did not know the maintenance on the Palín-Escuintla route.
On October 17, the CIV appointed Cueto López as interim director of Covial.
The CIV authorities have not announced the reasons for the dismissal, or who will be the person who will replace Cueto López.
CIV sources reported that changes will be made in the Ministry as part of a restructuring; However, there is still no pronouncement.
