A worker from the Guatemala Embassy in the Dominican Republic died during the collapse of the roof of a disco in Santo Domingo, official sources reported.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MINEX) confirmed on Wednesday, April 9, the death of a worker from the Guatemala Embassy in the Dominican Republic, because of the collapse of the ceiling of the Jet Set disco, in which the merenguero was presented Rubby Pérezwho also appears among the victims.
According to the official information, the victim was identified as Yokairy Gloribel Pujols Martínez, of Dominican nationality, who integrated the local staff of the diplomatic headquarters.
The Minex explained that Pujols Martínez served as assistant to the Mission of the Guatemalan Embassy.
So far, local authorities have reported approximately 136 people killed and 155 wounds. There is no record of Guatemalans among the victims.
The Guatemala Embassy in the Dominican Republic expressed in its social networks: “We are embarrassed by a deep sadness by informing the sensitive death of our appreciated companion and collaborator in the Embassy, whose dedication and human warmth left an indelible mark on all of us.” The publication adds: “Yokairy was an invaluable and professional partner committed, who, in her years working for the embassy, has left an intangible mark, which will remain in the heart of each of those we share with her.”
