President Donald Trump signed a decree that allows to increase the water pressure in the showers, which leaves dispositions of previous administrations.

The US president, Donald Trump, signed on Wednesday an executive order that raises the restrictions on the amount of water that shower heads can use and that, in his opinion, he will make the showers in the United States “become great again.”

According to a statement published by the White House, this order requires the Secretary of Energy, Chris Wright, to immediately terminate the federal norm “excessively complicated that redefined the term ‘shower head’” during the governments of Barack Obama (2009-2017) and Joe Biden (2021-2025).
According to the brief, the repeal will be effective 30 days after the date of publication of the notice.
This standard limited the flow of each shower head available in the market to nine liters of water per minute.
The Republican president has complained several times about the measures implemented by Democratic governments in water efficiency.
During his first term (2017-2021) and his 2024 presidential campaign, Trump repeatedly spoke about water pressure and his criticisms of environmental regulations, especially those related to water consumption in products such as showers, toilets and faucets.
