The Municipality of Guatemala suspended the service of your bus, after a group of hooded men took one of the units in zone 9 capital.

The municipal authorities reported that the service of your bus was temporarily suspended this Thursday, April 10, because a group of people with a covered face took one of the units and retained the pilot against his will.
The incident was recorded on Reforma Avenue and 16 Calle, Zone 9, where the commune indicated that a group of hooded protesters seized the bus.
It is read on official social networks: “#tubus service is suspended this Thursday, April 10, 2025. Encapuchados took a bus and retain the driver against his will, in addition to going down to passengers who returned from work with the intention of reaching their homes to rest.”
Amílcar Montejo, spokesman of the Metropolitan Entity Regulatory Transportation and Transit (Emetra), urged neighbors to plan their displacements through alternate routes and stay informed by means of official channels.
So far, the authorities have not identified to which group the individuals who took the unit belong.
