The Public Ministry (MP) reported that this Friday, April 11, coordinated the capture of Williams “N”, who is required in extradition by the United States government.
“He is accused of the United States District Court for Eastern District of Texas for crimes related to drug trafficking,” according to the investigating entity.
The MP said that an investigation by compliance authorities identified a large -scale drug trafficking organization that operated in South, Central and North America since at least 2006.
“The required as a member of said organization was identified, from approximately 2008 to at least June 2020,” added the MP.
According to the MP, the detainee is the assumption responsible for directing, managing and supervising part of the organization’s drug trafficking activities in Guatemala and other places.
The National Civil Police (PNC) reported that Williams “N”, 50, aka “Guarizama”, It was captured in a strategic operation in the Los Reyes, San Andrés, Petén.
This person has an arrest warrant for extradition purposes to the United States for drugs related to drug trafficking, the PNC added.
He added that they total 12 extraditables captured in 2025, of which five are for drug trafficking crimes.
