Héctor Flores, manager of the Transport Regulatory Metropolitan Entity (Emetra), reported on Wednesday, April 16, in an interview with the Network, on the actions implemented in the capital on the occasion of the Easter week.
He indicated that 1,200 cameras are enabled in the city to perform constant monitoring during the major week.
As part of the loan plan, the deployment of drones is contemplated in five points of the capital, between these the historic center and the entrance from the south along the Aguilar Batres road.
One of the objectives is to supervise vehicular mobilization in the accesses and exits of the city.
Monitoring will also be carried out at the exit to the route to the Atlantic, on the Roosevelt road and in zone 15, a section that connects with the route to El Salvador.
Emetra will have four cranes in strategic points to mobilize damaged vehicles.
Flores added that they remain operations to perform breathalyzer tests and avoid the circulation of overloaded cars.
He explained that the growth of the vehicle park has motivated the adoption of additional measures, so, in addition to the historic center, the monitoring will cover the 6th and 7th avenues in zone 9, La Reforma Avenue and the 20th street with direction to zones 10 and 14.
There is also the presence of agents on Vista Hermosa Boulevard and in the northern part of the peripheral ring due to transit related issues.
