At least 16 people suffered blows and wounds in the collision of two vehicles in San Marcos.

The volunteer firefighters reported that this Thursday, April 17, the collision of two vehicles was recorded at kilometer 278.2 of the route to San Rafael Pie de la Cuesta, San Marcos.
They added that a total of 10 people resulted in blows and possible fractures in different parts of the body.
They added that, due to the impact, one of the cars overturned and the other fell into a ravine.
They indicated that the injured are originally from the Sicabel village, San Miguel Ixtahuacán, San Marcos.
Meanwhile, departmental municipal firefighters reported that they attended six injured people, who were transferred to the San Marcos National Hospital.
In total, they add 16 people injured in road accidents.
Motorist dies in accident in Quiché
The volunteer firefighters reported that a motorcycle was collided by a vehicle that continued its march at kilometer 279 of the route to Cunén, Quiché.
They added that the motorist died in the place because of the blows he suffered.
