Amílcar Montejo, road spokesperson of the Municipal Traffic Police, reported that on Wednesday night April 16, an ambulance of volunteer firefighters overturned after a collision on the 6th Avenue and 24 street of the Zone 1.

He added that a truck was also involved in the accident, which suffered severe damage, and a road signaling structure was demolished.

Montejo said that, according to preliminary information, two firefighters were injured, so they were transferred to a hospital.

“Remember, always to give the firefighters,” Montejo wrote on the social network X.
