Mexican authorities found on Wednesday the bodies of four people decomposing within a Noria, a water well, in the municipality of Mier and Noriega, in Nuevo León, border state with the United States.

The Attorney General of the State, Javier Flores, informed the media of the finding, which would have allegedly occurred after an arrest made by the Municipal Police.

Despite the discovery, the head of the autonomous organ said that it is not a clandestine pit, but a Noria where, so far, these four bodies have been found.

It is not a pit, apparently it is a Noria where the bodies have been found, until now, at the moment, I think four people located there, in a state of decomposition, said.

He added that, waiting for genetic evidence, among the bodies found could be those of a couple that disappeared a month ago in the municipality of Doctor Arroyo, where armed subjects presumably kidnapped them at the exit of a palenque, a place where bets and fights of roosters are held.

The controversy due to the disappearances in Mexico has grown since March, after the discovery of a ranch that was allegedly a training camp of the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel (CJNG) in Teuchitlán, in the state of Jalisco, where groups of disappeared search engines denounced an extermination field. Relatives of missing have demanded that the president, Claudia Sheinbaum, solutions to find the more than 120,000 people not located in Mexico.
