Departmental municipal firefighters reported that this Friday, April 25, a child under 9 years old died from wounds caused with machete.
They added that the attack was recorded in a street in the Blue village, Jalpatagua, Jutiapa.
They indicated that the child died in the place due to the seriousness of the wounds he suffered.
According to witnesses, the victim walked with other children when an individual approached him and, with a machete, slaughtered him.
The child was identified as Julio Aníbal García Corado, 9 years old, according to departmental municipal firefighters.
The National Civil Police reported that, in the aforementioned village, police officers of the Departmental Police Station arrested an alleged man responsible for the death of the child.

The subject confiscated the machete with which he would have committed the crime.
