Judge Abelina Cruz Toscano, head of the Court of greatest risk D, resolved this Wednesday, April 30, send several involved in the construction and corruption case, including Anelisse Herrera, ex -assistant to former communications minister Alejandro Sinibaldi.
Several of the defendants were benefited with dismissal for certain crimes.
That same day, the evidence offering hearing for June 26 was also scheduled, in which the Public Ministry (MP) will present the means of evidence to be used at the trial and will determine which court will be in charge of the debate.
The construction and corruption case consists in the processing of a network that would have been directed by Sinibaldi and that managed bribes and washed money, according to the investigation.
From the first hearings, the Special Prosecutor’s Office against Impunity revealed that the investigations pointed out that, since Sinibaldi assumed as a deputy in 2007, there were already precedents of the alleged illegal operations.
In September 2018, the testimony of Anelisse Herrera showed a way to operate an alleged corruption structure directed by the politician to collect bribes, illegally finance campaigns and allegedly hide the origin of the funds.
