Inter Milan took advantage in the series against Barcelona, in the semifinals of the Champions League, but Mkhitaryan’s goal did not go up to the scoreboard for an offside sanctioned by the VAR.

FC Barcelona and Inter Milan starred on Wednesday, April 30 Champions League 2024-2025at the Montjuic Olympic Stadium.
The score ended 3-3, an unequivocal show that for 90 minutes both squads fought with all their forces for victory, something that none achieved thanks to the outstanding actions of both attacks.
On the part of Inter, the goals were scored by Marcus Thuram and a double by Denzel Dumfries. Barcelona responded with goals from Lamine Yamal and Ferran Torres, and a Raphinha shot that ended in autogol of goalkeeper Yann Sommer, to leave everything matched 3-3.
Despite the result, una of the networks was perforated on another occasionbut that was not valid.
This happened to Inter Milan: in the 74 Henrikh Mkhitaryan finished with force to send the ball to the bottom of the arch defended by Wojciech Szczęsny.
However, the joy Nerazzurri was brief, since the wizard raised the flag and pointed out out of place.
The play, difficult to warn with the naked eye, merited the VAR intervention to verify the arbitration decision.
After some suspense moments, the VAR informed the central referee who effectively existed out of play, so the initial decision was validated.
In the images of the television broadcast it was appreciated that it was the tip of the Armenian foot that was advanced with respect to the last defender of Barcelona, in a millimeter action that could have changed the final result.
The return meeting will take place next Tuesday, May 6 at the San Siro stadium (Giuseppe Meazza). The winner will qualify for the Grand Final of the Champions League.
