In the San Mateo Milpas Altas Park, Antigua Guatemala, Sacatepéquez, Police officers 74 captured Erickson “N”, 25, aka “El Zombie”, and Ludwing “N”, 28, aka “El Negro”.
According to the PNC, both are alleged gang members of the 18th neighborhood and responsible for having launched a grenade against police personnel who made citizen security tours in the sector.
He affirmed that these individuals launched the explosive device, which hit the structure of the police unit and was driven towards a park garden, without explosion.
The PNC added that both subjects were immediately neutralized, and the agents guarded the explosive device to avoid damage.
In addition, they coordinated the presence of experts from the investigation division, deactivation of weapons and explosives to ensure it and that the prosecutors will carry out the corresponding proceedings.
The detainees were evacuated immediately, since a group of neighbors agglomerated with the purpose of lynch them, causing a head injury to “El Zombie”, the PNC reported.
