The national team will train from May 12 to 17 at the facilities of the High Performance Center (CAR) of the National Football Federation, with a view to preparing the tie matches World Cup that will be played in June.
Luis Fernando Tena made a call of 20 players, among whom there are several novelties, including players that militate in the first and third division.
This first training microcycle will not be attended by soccer players whose teams dispute the semifinals of the Clausura 2025 tournament; Only players were called that they no longer have activity with their respective club and there are also no legionaries.
José Pinto, Erick Lemus, Stheven Robles, Fredy Pérez, José María Calderón and Marco Domínguez were summoned by communications.

Guatemala’s next game will be on Saturday, May 31 at the Finley Stadium in Tennessee. There he will face El Salvador before playing the World Cup tie against Dominican Republic and Jamaica between June 6 and 10. For these duels there will already be a more complete team and the usual legionaries.
