Two cousins were arrested in a convenience store in Gualán, Zacapa, where the National Civil Police (PNC) located crack, marijuana, cocaine, Q22 thousand in cash and firearms.
PNC agents and prosecutors of the Public Ministry (MP) raided the store at kilometer 165 of the Route to the Atlantic, in Gualán, where they captured two cousins and seized drugs, firearms and cash, they reported on Wednesday, June 4, official sources.
Researchers from the Specialized Division in Criminal Investigation (DEIC) of the PNC, in coordination with the Municipal Prosecutor’s Office, carried out the search and reported the capture of two cousins, as well as the confiscation of drugs and money.
At the moment, the authorities have not deepened in the case, which could be related to the sale of retail drugs.
The PNC explained that during the diligence three guns, 147 ammunition, 46 cigarettes with marijuana, 684 envelopes with crack stones, 426 envelopes with marijuana, 102 envelopes with glass drugs, 1,087 fangs with cocaine and Q22 thousand in cash were seized.
The Mario “N” and Rolando “N”, both 39 years old were captured in the place.
The authorities reported that investigations in this case continue.
