“Let a deep investigation of the case be done.” That is what the relatives of Nyny Jhoanna Montaña Rodríguez31 years old, of Colombian nationality, who was found lifeless within a freezer in a Panajachel trade, Sololá, on May 28.
This statement was made by the victim’s relatives to the newspaper Time from Colombia, who contacted them to learn more details related to the life of the young woman found lifeless in that town of Guatemala.
According to his relatives, Nyny Jhoanna was originally from San Eduardo, Boyacá, Colombia, and had lived for 10 years in Guatemala.
They also assured that he had three years of residing in Panajachel, where he was dedicated to selling second -hand American clothes. Before moving to that town, he lived in San Lucas Tolimán, also in Sololá.
Her relatives described her as a working and discreet woman. In addition, they assured that they did not consume drugs or other substances, thus discarding that their death has been because of some overdose.
Relatives travel to Guatemala
As it has been known, Nyny’s relatives have already traveled to Guatemala to carry out the corresponding procedures before the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (INACIF) so that the body is delivered and thus carry out the efforts for their repatriation. So far, INACIF has not provided details about the causes of the death of the young Colombian.
They also commented that they are making a collection in Colombia to raise the necessary funds that allow them to carry out the repatriation of Nyny’s body, since they do not have the necessary resources to carry out this procedure, so they have requested the support of family, friends and people who wish to collaborate.
