The case of NYny Jhoanna Montaña Rodríguez, The young Colombian found dead in a freezer of a commercial center in Panajachel, Sololá, on May 28, remains a mystery to her relatives, who, in the midst of pain for her departure, cry out for help to repatriate her remains to her native San Eduardo, Boyacá, Colombia.
In an interview with GuatevisiónTatiana Montaña, the victim’s sister, reported the painful moment she had to live when she recognized her sister’s body, because it was through a video call that witnessed the removal of the body.
Tatiana was in Spain for studies when she learned about her sister’s disappearance and, shortly after, received the devastating news: Nyny had been found lifeless in a freezer.
“It was by video call that I saw how my sister’s body raised,” Tatiana said in tears.
Accompanied by his aunt Nina, Tatiana traveled to Guatemala to claim Nyny’s body, who, according to her relatives, loved this country, who came with the illusion of working, giving employment and fulfilling her dreams.
Both Tatiana and her aunt pointed out that the Guatemalan authorities promised to deliver the first results of the investigation in three months. They also reported that the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (INACIF) confirmed that the body of the 31 -year -old girl had no visible signs of violence.
The mountain family requested the support of those who wish to collaborate with economic donations, with the aim of repatriating Nyny’s body to Colombia.
They also called on the authorities to clarify the facts and find those responsible.
