The National Institute of Seismology, Volcanology, Meteorology and Hydrology (Insivumeh) issued a special bulletin on Wednesday night June 4, in which he reported on a significant increase in the activity of the Fire volcano.

Insivumeh recommendations

  • To the National Coordinator for Disaster Reduction (CONRED): Be on alert to possible flows lava and keep the population informed.
  • To the General Directorate of Civil Aeronautics: Take precautions with air traffic, due to the possible ash dispersion up to a height of 4,800 meters above sea level and its displacement up to 40 kilometers in west and northwest direction.
