The Brazilian club was the last to ensure its place by conquering the 2024 South American Cup, winning the direct quota as representative of Conmebol. For its part, the American team sealed its classification by winning the Copacaf 2022 Champions Cup, after beating the Pumas of Mexico, achieving a historic ticket as one of the representatives of North America.

The other members of the area are the Paris Saint-Germain and Atlético de Madrid, teams that achieved their classification to the Club World Cup through the UEFA Clubs ranking.
Club World Cup format: teams, rounds and tournament structure
The new Tournament organized by FIFA brings together 32 clubs from the six international confederations (AFC, CAF, Concacaf, Conmebol, Ofc and UEFA), with the United States as an organizing country.
The dispute system will be formed by eight areas of four teams each, of which the first two advance to the round of 16. From that stage, a qualifying phase will be played by the single match until reaching the grand final and there will be no duel for third place.
