According to the Festival Board of the Guatemalan Tourism Institute (Inguat), these are the municipalities that celebrate the patron feast of the Virgen de la Asunción:
- Guatemala City
- Tacaná, San Marcos
- Jocotenango, Sacatepéquez
- Tactic, Alta Verapaz
- Sololá, Sololá
- Colotenango, Huehuetenango
- Cantel, Quetzaltenango
