Real Madrid did it again. In a vibrant and emotions match, the Merengue team defeated Borussia Dortmund 3-2 with an agonized goal by Kylian Mbappé, who dressed as a hero with a work of art in the last sigh of the match.
When everything pointed out that the duel had no more emotions, the magic of the French striker appeared. It ran 90+3 when Arda Güler leaked a surgical pass to the area, and Mbappé, with her crack seal, threw himself into a spectacular dyereta to send the ball to the bottom of the network, unleashing the madness in the stands and among her teammates.
But the moment was even more special. After the goal, Mbappé ran to the cameras and raised his fingers doing the number 20, dedicating his score to Diogo Jota, the Portuguese footballer who recently died in a car accident. The image quickly went viral, with messages of respect and admiration for the gesture of French.
The game had everything: goals, emotion and drama until the last second. Borussia Dortmund sold the defeat face and was close to matching it, but in the last play the figure of Thibaut Courtois appeared, who with a monumental shortcut on the line avoided the German draw and took the applause.
With this result, Real Madrid sealed its ticket to the next phase of the Club World Cup, reaffirming its hierarchy in the tournament. Mbappé not only signed a memorable goal, but also made it clear that his signing with whites is paying fruits from the first minute.
The stadium vibrated with the intensity of the match, and the connection between the Madrid players and the fans became stronger than ever. Mbappé’s scissors is already one of those plays that will be marked in the memory of white fans.
It is an acrobatic volley! It’s a goal of world dimension!

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund said goodbye with his forehead high, after having placed the Spanish giant against the strings. However, the forcefulness of Real Madrid and Curtois’s shortcut made the difference.
The history of the game will not only be remembered by the goal, but also by the emotional dedication of Mbappé, a gesture that showed the most human football side in the middle of a historic night in the Club World Cup.
