It is not my place to consider whether or not the sitting American president deserves the Nobel Prize, but he does a lot to resolve complex crises that have lasted for years and decades,” Putin said at a press conference.

In response, President Trump shared the video on his networks, in addition to thank Putin for his statements.

The Russian president also criticized the committee, pointing out that, on previous occasions, they have awarded the prize to people who “they have done nothing for peace.”

“In my opinion, those decisions caused enormous damage to the credibility of that award,” he added.
