However, a goal in the last minute by Virgil Misidjan dissipated all emotion and joy from the Bicolor fanssince this tie greatly complicates the possibilities that Guatemala continues in the fight for direct qualification to the World Cup and even a possible playoff.
The group directed by Luis Fernando Tena is currently in the last position of group Awith two units, while Suriname remains in first place, with five points.
