Sinaprese gives preliminary figures for contingencies during Holy Week 2026

The National Prevention System during Holy Week (Sinaprese) toasted on saturday night preliminary figures of contingencies attended to or registered for that entity in this period of rest, as well as religious fervor.

Sinaprese clarifies that these are preliminary figures and that not all emergencies may have been reported.

Regarding those who died until Glory Saturday, There was a total of 208 people killed during Holy Week, of which 11 drowned.

Only this Saturday April 4th 18 people died due to various events.

Sinaprese too reported at least 106 missing people during this holiday period.

Regarding the injured, the system, which is made up of several entities in the country, reported at least 926 injuries on Glory Saturday alone, for a total of four thousand 522.

According to the report, 164 Guatemalans were hospitalized, for a cumulative total of 838 during the period.
