The authorities are carrying out an investigation that will allow them to find the person or persons responsible for a shooting reported at 12:25 a.m. on April 26, in the 400 block of E. Kirword Avenue.
Agents who were near Indiana University, where the incident occurred, heard the detonations of firearms, causing chaos due to the deployment of a crowd that was at the scene.
Preliminarily, it is reported that nine people were injured after being hit by bullets, causing ambulances to immediately transport six people to a nearby hospital, while the rest were transported in private vehicles and the last in a police patrol.
The Bloomingoton Police Department, in charge of the case, reported that so far they do not have the profile of the suspect, not knowing the causes of the attack and they do not report the arrest of any person.
The area of the attack is under observation by investigating agents, who are looking for signs or clues that lead them to the perpetrator or perpetrators of the attack.
