The National Civil Police (PNC) reported that, as part of the fight against drug dealing, anti-narcotics agents carried out seven raids in Suchitepéquez and Retalhuleu.
According to the police report, the arrest of the brothers Luis and Jackeline “N”, aged 23 and 22, is reported; in addition to María “N”, 29, and Brenda “N”, 45.
In different residences, on Tuesday, April 28, investigators located an assault rifle with two hoppers and 36 ammunition.
They also seized 213 bags and seven wrappers of marijuana; 32 bags of methamphetamine; three bags of crack rocks; 47 fangs and four bags of cocaine.
In addition, they seized five cell phones, a van, Q2,571 in cash and a notebook with notes, addresses and telephone numbers that will be analyzed to strengthen the investigation, the PNC reported.
While, in zone 7 of Quetzaltenango, investigators reported the arrest of José “N”, 42; Iris “N”, 43; Mirna “N”, 37, and Celeste “N”, 41.
