Communications, led by Marco Antonio “Fantasma” Figueroa, left the Pensativo stadium alive after the first leg of the quarterfinals of the Clausura 2026 tournamentwho played as a visitor against Antigua GFC.
Although for much of the match the colonial team led by Mauricio Tapia was superior and generated several attempts at the goal defended by Fredy Pérez, they only obtained a minimal advantage by beating the cream team 3-2.
In the match, the superiority of the locals was evident, and at minute 57 they were already winning 3-0 with goals from Agustín Maziero, Óscar Santis and Óscar Castellanos. The outlook seemed very uphill for the white team, which was experiencing a difficult night in a difficult stadium.
