At the intermediate stage hearing in the High Risk Court B, this Monday, April 4, the Public Ministry (MP) presented frames that show that three vehicles would have been used for the plagiarism of the dentist Julio Amílcar Martínez Murillo, which occurred on May 28, 2025.

The frames showed that the accused Alejandro Girón Castañeda was driving one of the three cars used to commit the crime against the victim.

According to the MP, the vehicles would have been lent by Girón Castañeda, who was a friend of the victim, who is still missing.

At the hearing, the investigating entity explained how the victim was controlled during her visit to a shopping center, where she bought food.

Then two other vehicles joined the dentist’s route on the road to El Jocotillo, Villa Canales, where he would go to his dentistry office; However, according to the images, he would have been intercepted along the way.

Subsequently, the four vehicles returned to the capital. The dentist’s vehicle was then abandoned, as explained by the MP in the frames.

A still unidentified person got out of the vehicle and moved to another of those captured by the cameras, and they fled the scene.

According to the investigation, the kidnappers asked for Q5 million as payment to release the victim, but his whereabouts are unknown.

During the hearing, the MP asked Judge Eduarso Orozco to open a trial against those involved Julio Alejandro Girón Castañeda, Carlos Antonio González, Juan Ubaldo Tzul Castillo, Juan Oswaldo Tzul Hernández and Paola Isabel Díaz Ramírez, because there are indications that link them to the case. All are accused of plagiarism or kidnapping.
